6/21: A Message of Gratitude — and a Major Update

Dear Neighbors and Coalition Members,

We have great news — and you made it happen! Your emails have gained real traction with local political leaders. Because of your voices, we gained the support of Council Member Paige Ellis’s office in securing a postponement of the upcoming vote. It will no longer be heard on July 23 — it has been rescheduled to September 10. Thank you to everyone who wrote, forwarded, and encouraged others to participate. This is grassroots action at work.

The work is far from over. We’ll keep you updated on next steps as we approach September 10.

Ten meaningful ways to protect your neighborhood before the City Council vote.

1. EMAIL COUNCIL MEMBER PAIGE ELLIS

District 8 Council Member Paige Ellis directly represents Circle C. A personal email from a constituent can carry significant weight before a vote. Making the subject line unique and adding a personal note makes it more meaningful.

2. SPEAK AT CITY COUNCIL

Sign up to deliver public comment at the City Council meeting when the case is heard. In-person testimony is one of the most impactful actions you can take.

3. SUBMIT WRITTEN COMMENTS

If you cannot attend in person, submit written comments to the City of Austin for the official record of Case C14-2025-0064. Include your name and address.

4. SHARE INFORMATION WITH YOUR NEIGHBORS

Many residents may not know this case is moving forward. Share information through Nextdoor, neighborhood email lists, HOA meetings, and face-to-face conversations. You can adapt the outreach template above to make it easy for others to get involved.

5. ATTEND HOA MEETINGS

The Circle C HOA Board meets on the last Wednesday of each month at the Community Center. Residents can also use the HOA process to ask questions, express concerns, and request updates related to the Tract 110 proposal. Sign up to speak by emailing info@circlecranch.info a week before the meeting.
